In 2019 I worked with the BBC to design a breakthrough children’s app as part of its cyberbullying Taskforce. The app helped 8-12 year olds get the most of their time online, and empowered them to take charge of their digital world. With ways of reporting and reflection, the app also helped to safeguard young people against online bullying with a first of its kind sentiment analysis keyboard.

UI & UX Design
Brand design
I worked to wireframe, prototype and design the app from conception through to final build.
I also worked within the BBC Own It brand to develop a style guide full of key components that could be used to create future screens when needed. To accompany this I also created a style guide document that outlines the core principles of applying the brand to the app.
The app has been extremely well received and has been featured in press globally since its launch in 2019, winning multiple design awards.
It has also been received well by William, Prince of Wales who heads up the Taskforce.
